How to use it
- Choose a picture.
- Type the top text and the bottom text. Leave either one empty if you do not need it.
- Use the slider to make the text larger or smaller, and change its colour if white does not show well.
- Press Download meme.
How it works
Your picture is drawn on a canvas in your browser, and the text is drawn over it in capital letters with a black outline, so it stays readable on light and dark pictures. Long text is wrapped onto extra lines: top text grows downward, and bottom text grows upward.
Tips
- Short lines work best. Five or six words per line are easy to read on a phone.
- If the text covers a face, make it smaller with the slider or shorten it.
- The download is a JPG, which every chat app and social network accepts.
Limits
- Text can go only at the top and the bottom. It cannot be dragged to other places.
- Pictures larger than 1,600 pixels on the longest side are reduced to that size.
- Only use pictures you have the right to share.

Does the meme have a watermark?
No. The picture you download has only your image and your text.
Can I use my own picture?
Yes. Choose any picture from your device. It is not uploaded anywhere.
What font do memes use?
The classic meme look is the Impact font in white capital letters with a black outline. This tool uses Impact when your device has it, and a similar heavy font when it does not.
