Split PDF
Free to use. Runs in your browser: your files and text are not uploaded.
Take pages out of a PDF. Type the pages you want, and each group of pages becomes its own PDF file.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF. The tool shows how many pages it has.
- Type the pages to take out.
- Press Split PDF and use the download links.
How to write page ranges
| You type | You get |
|---|---|
1-3 |
One PDF with pages 1, 2 and 3 |
5 |
One PDF with page 5 only |
1-3, 5, 8-10 |
Three PDFs: pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 8 to 10 |
Each part between commas becomes one file. Page 1 is the first page of the document, whatever number is printed on it.
How it works
The chosen pages are copied, unchanged, into new PDF documents. Text stays selectable and pictures keep their quality.
Limits
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
- At most 200 files can be made in one go.
- Bookmarks from the original are not copied into the parts.
- To join files back together, use Merge PDF.
