Merge PDF

Combine several PDF files into one, in the order you choose. Free PDF merger with no upload and no sign-up.

Free to use. Runs in your browser: your files and text are not uploaded.

Join two or more PDF files into a single PDF. All pages of the first file come first, then all pages of the second, and so on.

    How to use it

    1. Choose your PDF files. You can select several at once and add more afterwards.
    2. Use ↑ and ↓ to change the order, or ✕ to remove a file.
    3. Press Merge PDFs. The result is saved as merged.pdf.

    How it works

The tool opens each PDF and copies its pages, unchanged, into a new document. Text stays as text and pictures keep their quality, because nothing is redrawn or compressed again. The message under the button shows the page count and file size of the result.

    Limits

    • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password first with the program that created the file.
    • Bookmarks (the outline panel) and form fields that share a name across files may not carry over as you expect. Check the result if you rely on them.
    • The merged file is about as large as the originals added together. This tool does not compress.
    • To take pages out of a PDF, use Split PDF.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I combine PDF files into one?

Choose the PDF files, put them in order with the arrow buttons, and press Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads as merged.pdf.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The files are joined by your browser on your own device. Only the PDF library is fetched from the internet.

Is there a limit on the number of files?

There is no fixed limit. Very large files are limited by the memory of your device, which matters most on phones.
