Online Whiteboard
Free to use. Runs in your browser: your files and text are not uploaded.
A blank board to draw on. Use it to sketch an idea, explain something on a video call, work through a maths problem, or just doodle.
How to use it
- Draw by pressing and dragging on the white area with a mouse, finger or pen.
- Colour opens a colour chooser for the pen.
- Pen size makes the line thinner or thicker.
- Eraser switches to rubbing out. Untick it to draw again.
- Undo steps back one stroke at a time, up to 20 strokes.
- Clear wipes the whole board. Undo brings it back.
- Download PNG saves the board as a picture.
Good uses
- Teaching and tutoring: share your screen and draw a diagram while you explain.
- Meetings: sketch a flow, a layout or a rough chart faster than building it in slides.
- Problem solving: work through equations or a sketch by hand.
- Signatures and notes: write something by hand and save it as a picture.
- Children: a simple drawing pad with nothing to install.
Tips for clearer drawings
- Use a pen size of 3 to 5 for writing and 8 or more for headings and shapes.
- Stick to two or three colours, and give each a meaning, such as black for the main drawing and red for corrections.
- Write larger than feels natural. Screen-shared handwriting shrinks for the viewer.
- For straight lines, draw quickly in one stroke.
Limits
- One user at a time. There is no shared or real-time collaboration.
- There are no shapes, text boxes, sticky notes or layers. Everything is freehand.
- The board is a fixed size of 1600 × 900 pixels and cannot be scrolled or zoomed.
- The eraser paints in white, so erased areas are white in the downloaded picture too. The background is not transparent.
- Undo remembers the last 20 actions.
Frequently asked questions
Can other people draw on the same whiteboard?
No. This is a single-user board that runs in your own browser. To show it to others, share your screen in a video call, or download the picture and send it.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Draw with a finger or a stylus. On a tablet with a pen it works well for handwriting and diagrams.
Is my drawing saved?
Not automatically. Press Download PNG to keep it. Reloading or closing the page clears the board.
